The courses for adults last for 9 months, from October to June, and start dates are available on most Mondays throughout this period. Classes integrate all the skills needed to learn a language: fluency, communication, listening comprehension, reading and writing. Each 9-month period is designed to cover one language level.

The courses consist of 3 hours class per week (approximately 110 horas over 9 months). Classes are held on Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays (2 classes per week) or on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings (1 class per week).
Official Exams

It is often not enough to be able to speak a language - it is necessary to demonstrate your level of proficiency through a qualification. Official qualifications are becoming more and more essential when applying for a job or for students wishing to study abroad.

The Lewis School of Languages has many years of expericence preparing students for official exams in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The courses combine general language learning with special sessions on exam preparation and techniques. This gives our students greater confidence when they sit the exam and our success rate over the years has been excellent. Exam preparation courses are 2, 3 or 4 hours per week depending on the language.
